The athenaCapture mobile application, alongside the corresponding athenaNet workflows, offers users a secure and straightforward method to include image documentation into athenaNet using their smartphone or tablet. The current supported workflows consist of:

• Simple image documentation capture
• Encounter embedded image documentation capture
• Patient photo capture
• Insurance card capture

Images are transmitted directly from athenaCapture to athenaNet and are never stored insecurely, such as in a device's camera roll or on a memory card inserted into a camera, without manual intermediary steps.
